The first time I entered the Peruvian jungle 18 years ago, I didn't yet know that I had come there to seek my breath.

The ayahuasca ceremony. That night, sitting in the maloca under the Amazonian stars, I felt foreign. Foreign to myself, foreign to this circle of seekers who all seemed to navigate dimensions I couldn't access. No colorful visions. No shattering revelations. In his hands, a small bottle. Agua de Florida. He brought it to his lips, and in an ancestral gesture, he blew this perfume at the level of my heart chakra.

This breath.

I received it as a birth.

The instant the aromatic particles penetrated my nostrils, something opened within me. Not a vision. Something even more essential: the breath of life.

Years later, while studying Hopi cosmogony, I understood that what I had received that night bore an ancient name. In the Hopi tradition of which I am an apprentice, Spider Woman, the Spider Grandmother, created the first human beings from clay. She shaped them, then sang the Song of Creation over them. And it was through this song that the breath of life entered them, awakening them to existence.

1. The meeting: We make an appointment together, whether in person or remotely. During this exchange, we explore your request. What is your intention? 2. Listening to the plants: Once your intention is clarified, I listen. The plants speak to me, guide me toward those that will carry your medicine. I never choose essences intellectually; I receive their call. Over several days, I gather the necessary plants: flowers, resins, bark, roots, sacred essential oils.

3. Creating the perfume: I compose your personalized perfume by following the indications of the plant spirits. Each essence is added with respect, consciousness, and prayer. The perfume becomes a living being, carrier of the collective energy of all the plants that compose it.

4. The activation song (icaro): Once the perfume is created, I sing it. I sing the icaro that connects it to you, to your intention, to your essence. This song is the act of activation. It programs the perfume, gives it direction, makes it living and operative. Without this song, the perfume remains inert. With it, it becomes medicine.
